Alice Fan
Managing Lawyer
Alice is the managing lawyer at AYF Law Firm. She is a member of the Law Society of Ontario and the State Bar of Nebraska.
Alice practices in the fields of family law and criminal law, where she handled a variety of family litigation matters involving divorce and separation, spousal and child support, and parenting issues. She also represented clients in criminal cases involving assault, impaired driving, drugs, and fraud charges.
Alice graduated law school with concentration certificates in litigation and criminal procedures, and gained experience through many criminal trials and family disputes while working at the County Attorneys’ Office and the Legal Clinic in United States. After returning to Toronto, Alice articled at a private practice exclusively working on criminal defence, and later joined a reputable firm doing general practice.
Prior to law school, Alice graduated from University of Toronto with majors in sociology and law. It has been a lifetime goal for her to become a lawyer, so that she can be a voice for those in need and to serve a purpose. Alice is tough when she needs to be, but she is also understanding and compassionate.
Alice is fluent in English and Mandarin.
Alina Zhang
Lawyer
Alina is an Immigration Lawyer at AYF Law Firm. She has extensive experience in all types of permanent and temporary residence applications, and has represented clients in front of Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada and Canada Border Services Agency.
Alina received her Master of Law degree from the University of British Columbia, and worked in several prestige immigration law firms before joining AYF Law Firm as an associate lawyer.
She is fluent in English and Mandarin.
Steve Kong
Senior Real Estate Law Clerk
Steve is a Senior Real Estate Law Clerk at AYF Law Firm, with over 30 years of experience in real estate law.
Prior to joining our team, Steve has worked at several prestige law firms. He specializes in both residential and commercial transactions. He has completed thousands of purchases, sales, mortgages, refinances and private mortgages.
Real estate agents and clients love Steve's dedication, professionalism, precision, patience, and passion in the work that he does. He's always just a phone call or email away.

KAREN YAO
Senior Real Estate Law Clerk
Karen is a Senior Real Estate Law Clerk at AYF Law Firm, with over 20 years of experience in real estate law, commercial law, and estate law.
Karen received her Law Clerk Diploma from Seneca College.
Prior to joining our team, Karen has worked at a busy commercial and real estate law firm. She specializes in both residential and commercial transactions. She also assists clients with probate and estate administration.
Karen is always reachable. She is also very diligent in pinpointing issues and helping clients find practical, effective solutions.
Karen is fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.

CINDY HUANG
Administrative Assistant
Cindy is an Administrative Assistant and Receptionist at AYF Law Firm, with a background in customer service, administration, and teaching.
Cindy obtained her Bachelor's Degree from Communication University of China, and her Master's Degree from Renmin University. She brings her in-depth research, strong customer service, and interpersonal skills to our team and dedicates to better assist our clients with her extremely calm and positive attitude.
Prior to joining our team, Cindy has worked as an IELTS Teacher, a Coordinator in a well-known retailer company in Markham, as well as an Administrator in a State-owned corporation in China.
Cindy is fluent in English and Mandarin.
Vicky Xu
Immigration Consultant
Vicky is a Registered Immigration Consultant at AYF Law Firm, with more than 10 years of professional consulting experience focusing on international student services, immigration and settlement services.
Vicky first came to Canada as an international student herself, and went through the entire immigration process on her own. For many years, Vicky worked at three reputable immigration law firms in downtown Toronto, helping clients from different countries. Vicky dealt with a number of complicated immigration cases involving IRB hearing, removal order, visitor visa with no travel history, student and worker status restoration, and LMIA-exempted work permit. She also specializes in routine cases, such as study permit and extension, open work permit, Express Entry, Atlantic Immigration Pilot program, provincial nominee program in Ontario and Nova Scotia, and family sponsorship (spousal sponsorship and parental sponsorship application).
To further enhance her knowledge and expertise in this field, Vicky recently completed a Masters program in Immigration and Settlement Studies at Ryerson University. She is more than ready to assist clients at all levels who need help with their immigration matters.
